Angry Birds Forever (stylized Angry Birds 4Ever) is a 2014 Japanese anime film distributed by 20th Century Fox, and produced by Rovio Animation in the USA.
In Japan however, the movie was distributed by Japan-based film company Toho, LTD.
The movie had it's limited US premiere on June 1, 2014 in select theaters. The film was shown in one theater per US state.
The birds get their eggs stolen by the pigs and taken to a secret headquarters in New Pork City (which represents a modern-day Metropolis). The birds travel to New Pork City to get their eggs back. However, Red is captured by a spy pig and the others must save him.
The soundtrack was composed by Yoko Ueno, who previously composed 2006's Gamera the Brave.
The film was praised by critics for it's "sense of adventure". IGN gave the film 8.5 out of 10, saying that "It is easily one of the best things to come out of Rovio." The film is currently holding an 8.6 out of 10 on IMDb.
Angry Birds 4Ever received a home video release on Blu-ray, but the DVD version has been proven rare. The movie was available on iTunes, but has since been taken down for unexplained reasons.
